• Product analytics events recorded on our servers when you use authenticated features (for example account actions, listings, bids, and payments), which do not depend on analytics cookie consent

Cookies and Analytics

Essential cookies are used to keep you signed in and to protect the site. These do not require consent.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use PostHog in your browser (product analytics, heatmaps, and session replay) and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and to improve it. PostHog may store a first-party cookie and related browser storage for that purpose.

If you decline analytics cookies, we do not set PostHog analytics cookies or run session replay in your browser. We may still measure aggregate site traffic in a cookieless, privacy-preserving mode that does not identify you across days or devices.

Separately, when you use signed-in product features, our servers may record related product analytics events with PostHog (for example creating a community, listing activity, bids, or payments). Those server-side events are part of operating and improving the marketplace and are not controlled by the analytics cookie banner.

How We Use Information

We use data to operate the marketplace, send transactional notifications (such as outbid alerts and auction results), prevent fraud, and improve the service.

When a sale occurs, we share contact information (email, phone, and company name where applicable) between the winning buyer and seller so they can coordinate offline closing.

Sharing

Bidder display names and public Q&A may be visible on active listings.

Buyer and seller contact details are revealed only when a sale occurs — not when a bid is placed.

We do not sell personal information. Service providers such as hosting, email, payments, and analytics vendors process data on our behalf.
